As a form of service for the country, Kompas Gramedia again cooperated with the Press Council in the 2nd Dose Covid-19 Vaccination Center program for 10,000 Media Workers. This activity was held at Bentara Budaya Jakarta, Palmerah Selatan, Central Jakarta for 15 days from September 14 to October 5, 2021. The target daily participants in this vaccination activity are 500 people.
Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin pleased to review the Cultural Herald Vaccination Center on Thursday, September 23, 2021, accompanied by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin and the ranks, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communication and Information Mira Tayyiba, and Deputy 1 BNPB Raditya Jati. Also present welcomed the Vice President and his entourage, Chairman of the Press Council Mohammad Nuh and KOMPAS Gramedia CEO Lilik Oetama, and the leadership of Kompas Gramedia.
Before reviewing the vaccination site, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin in a limited audience expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the implementation of the vaccination of 10,000 media workers today. "I am grateful to be present at the vaccination implementation held by the Press Council and Kompas Gramedia. On behalf of the government, I express my deepest gratitude and appreciation. The government's efforts to tackle Covid-19 cannot be done only by the government itself. One of the keys to tackling Covid-19 is vaccination."
Ma'ruf Amin also emphasized the importance of the role of the media, especially journalists who are at the forefront of providing socialization of vaccination programs, "And for journalists, it becomes very important because it is at the forefront, including health workers. The press can socialize vaccination activities as an effort to prevent and overcome Covid-19."
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on this occasion said that the national vaccination target this year had increased from before. "The national vaccination target has increased from 181.5 million people, but in the middle of the target it rises to 208 million people and now the age of 12 years can be vaccinated. Thank God yesterday I saw that 39% of national vaccinations have been running."
Budi Gunadi Sadikin also said that the government could not do this program alone, but by building cooperation and support from various parties, "The government cannot exclusively do this on its own, Kompas Gramedia once again thank you for helping the government-run this program, hopefully, all healthy journalists," he said.
Press Council Chairman Mohammad Nuh also expressed his gratitude to the Government and the Ministry of Health for their support in providing vaccine supplies for media workers. Appreciation was also conveyed to Kompas Gramedia for organizing vaccinations for media workers. "We on behalf of the Press Council and our media friends thank you for their support for this vaccination. We are also grateful for the assistance from the Ministry of Health for the supply of vaccines so that activities for these media workers can be realized. Thank you also to Mr. Lilik and the entire Kompas Gramedia family for their incredible time, facilities and support. So that this activity can be carried out properly."
Kompas Gramedia CEO Lilik Oetama said that vaccination activities are currently one way to suppress the spread of Covid-19, "Looking at the current situation, one way to suppress Covid-19 is vaccination, so we from Kompas Gramedia fully support this vaccination activity, not only in Jakarta, we also do vaccination in these areas."

The KG Vaccination Center in Bentara Budaya Jakarta presents a unique vaccination experience. Paintings of Bentara Budaya collections hung around vaccination rooms and ethnic music can help reduce tensions. The comfortable atmosphere of the art gallery allows participants to queue and undergo vaccinations relaxed.
The implementation of the 2nd dose of Covid-19 Vaccination Center was organized by Dyandra Promosindo in collaboration with KG Media and a number of health workers from St. Carolus Serpong Hospital, Esnawan Angkasa Hospital, Mitra Keluarga Hospital, Permata Keluaraga Hospital, NeoClinic, and The Gift of Clinical Laboratory. The KG Medical Center team was also on-site to anticipate participants experiencing complaints after vaccination.
The Covid-19 2nd dose for 10,000 Media Workers is a continuation of the 1st dose vaccination that was held previously on June 28-July 12, 2021 as part of the 56th Anniversary celebration of Kompas Daily. The KG Vaccination Center is based on the humanitarian spirit to invite all parties to move together #BerkolaborasiuntukIndonesia pandemic-free by supporting the government's efforts in breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 through the acceleration of vaccination.
