KGX SIGNS COOPERATION WITH STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES

PT Sirkulasi Kompas Gramedia (KGX) signed a cooperation agreement with PT Varuna Tirta Prakasya (Persero) or commonly called VTP, one of the State-Owned Enterprises engaged in logistics.

The signing of the cooperation contract by KGX Director Amelia Angelica and President Director of PT VTP Mochamad Yusuf Danadibrata at the Jupiter Room of Kompas Gramedia Palmerah Selatan Building on Friday, February 19, 2021, was attended by the board of directors of both companies. The event was conducted by strictly implementing health protocols.

In her speech, Amelia Angelica hopes this cooperation will be a good first step in 2021, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that is still sweeping the world. "Hopefully the world is getting better, so hopefully the business will get better for us in the future," said Amelia.

The same thing was also conveyed by Mochamad Yusuf, who expressed the hope that this cooperation becomes a momentum of collaboration in handling logistics needs. "Logistics business is a very promising business. We have also mapped business potential in addition to the transportation sector, as well as on logistic projects and others whose value is quite fantastic," said Yusuf.

The logistics business is one of the businesses that still operate at a time when some business sectors are experiencing the direct impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. With the cooperation between KGX and VTP, it is expected that the logistics needs of Indonesian people can still be met properly so that the wheels of the economy can still move.
