PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (PTPN IX) and PT Dyandra Promosindo cooperated in the management of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, Central Java, for 10 years which can be extended in the future. The signing of the cooperation agreement by SEVP Business Support PTPN IX Wispramono Budiman and President Director of PT Dyandra Promosindo on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Banaran Sky View – Kampoeng Kopi Banaran. Also present at the event were President Commissioner of PTPN IX Syarkawi Rauf, Independent Commissioner of PTPN IX Andi Wibisono, Independent Commissioner of PTPN IX Warsito Ellwein, President Director of PTPN IX Tio Handoko, SEVP Operation PTPN IX Tri Septiono, Director of Dyandra Promosindo Sri Mulyani Santoso, and Project Director Dyandra Promosindo Rumpoko Adi.
Through this cooperation, PTPN IX hopes that this 40-hectare agrotourism area can develop better and be integrated. Wispramono Budiman said that the development of agrotourism area in Semarang should continue to be done so as to make Kampoeng Kopi Banaran one of the best tourist destinations in Joglosemar area and in the Central Java region and increase the number of domestic and foreign tourist visits to Semarang.
"We believe Dyandra as a partner has had a lot of experience and good competence. Therefore we entrust the management of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran to PT Dyandra Promosindo to carry out its development strategy," said Wispramono Budiman.
After this signing, PT Dyandra Promosindo, under the umbrella of PT Dyandra Banaran Nusantara is committed to realizing what is a common hope. Hendra Noor Saleh said that some infrastructure and tourism programs that are already running well will be managed better in order to obtain much more significant results.
"Some of the existing infrastructures is up and running, I think it's been good and we're committed to continuing it. We also see some good infrastructure and tourism programs to develop but not yet maximized in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran. This will be our first focus as the manager of this agrotourism area," said Hendra Noor Saleh.
In this cooperation, PT Dyandra Promosindo will manage aspects of infrastructure development, edu-tours, and ecotourism, including the implementation of similar events and activities. Initiatives that will be developed, including the development of restaurants, sky view development, outdoor activities development, glamping, coffee museum, merchandise, and resort, even the development of hotels for the long term. PT Dyandra Promosindo through the business entity PT Mitra Natura Raya has also been trusted by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) to manage 4 Botanical Gardens in Indonesia.
