Kompas.com received the award as Best Online Media Partner from Humanity Initiative (HI). This award was given to coincide with the 21st anniversary of HI, Thursday (12/10/2020), which was celebrated virtually.
HI is a non-governmental organization focused on organizing humanitarian programs. This appreciation is given to a number of institutions that are considered to contribute significantly to people in need, especially in the midst of a pandemic.
Editor-in Kompas.com Wisnu Nugroho said the struggle to humanize people and humanity is a value that is fought Kompas.com. The struggle is the legacy of Kompas Gramedia founder Jakob Oetama.
