UMN GANDENG UiTM FOR RESEARCH COOPERATION TO STUDENT EXCHANGE AND LECTURER

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in academic works with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia by Daring in Kamis, 2 Juli 2020. The MoU was signed by the Rector UMN Ninok Leksono, a representative of the Rector of Relations and works of Muliawati G. Siswanto, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) UiTM Haji Mohamad Kamal Haji Harun, and the rector of UiTM Cawang Perak Seri Iskandar Yusof Hamid campus. The signing that runs through this Zoom platform is driven by Global Relations and Cooperations Officer UMN Boby Arinto, witnessed by the section of the Inspectorate, dean, and Staff of UMN and UiTM.

"In relation to this (signing MoU), UMN is the right share for UiTM Bekerjesame because UMN has a quality grow education and accreditation (good Accreditation) university from the government (ruler) in Indonesia. Through this MoU, Kamal emphasized several cooperation, among others: (1) Conduct a program of exchange of staff to exchange knowledge and experience, (2) receive the exchange of students, both graduate and post-graduate, (3) Conduct integrated research between several faculties, and (4) conduct cooperation in other areas such as innovation and long-term activities. “Semoge dengan penegakinye (diberlakukannya) memorandum kesefahaman ini, kite akan membuke lebih banyak peluang kerjesame kepade pelajar-pelajar dan juge pencara-pencara (dosen) dalam perwujudan pade mase kini, seterusnye mase akan datang,” Kamal says.

In line with that, Vice-Rector of relations and cooperation of UMN Muliawati G. Siswanto said UMN students can conduct short studies (internships) and further studies at UiTM and vice versa. In addition, he also invites the procurement of seminars or webinars organized by UMN and UiTM.
