Based on the UI research of GreenMetric World University Rankings 2019, the University of Multimedia Nusantara reached the 13th most green and environmentally friendly university in Indonesia and the rank of 213 in the world. This achievement again made UMN as the greenest private college in Jakarta.

"As a contribution to environmental conservation, UMN continues to be committed to establishing an environmentally friendly campus and maintaining its achievement like a green campus at the national and world level. From year to year, UMN scores always go up. Last year, we got a 5,375 score of the 248 world ranking. While this year the scoring rose to 6,025 with the rank of 213 world, "said Vice-Rector II Andrey Andoko.

In addition to being crowned as the greenest PTS in Jakarta, other achievements achieved by students and the D-3 hospitality lecturer in the form of five medals, two silver, and three bronze, in the culinary competition La Cuisine 2019 at JIEXPO Kemayoran on Saturday, November 16. La Cuisine 2019 is part of the Salon International de i'alimentation (SIAL Interfood), an international exhibition in the field of food, beverages, catering services, hotels, restaurants, and cafes, as well as bakery held for 13 – 16 November at JIEXPO Kemayoran. Recorded as many as 880 companies from 330 countries with more than 28 food sectors involved in this exhibition. (MB/CRA)
