Santika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts recorded another achievement, this time awarded by Markplus Inc., a professional marketing, research, education and media consultancy .
The award was given to L. Sudarsana, general manager of the corporate business development and marketing communications department, as 2018 Marketeer of the Year in Hospitality for the 2018 Greater Jakarta Marketing Champion program, Tuesday, May 8. The award was presented by the founder and CEO of Markplus Inc., Hermawan Kartajaya.
“The award is conferred to an individual who is deemed to have succeeded in making a difference in marketing. This acknowledges local marketers who not only succeeded in marketing, but also in having a positive impact on the community at large,” said Jaka Perdana, corporate communication manager of Markplus, Inc.
Sudarsana was selected as the Marketeer of the Year in Hospitality for using a greater variety of media marketing channels compared to other hotel brands. Furthermore, the significant growth in the number of Hotel Santika and Amaris Hotel branches in Indonesia from 2017 demonstrates a serious approach to targeted brand marketing, such that many investors are interested in partnering with Santika Indonesia. Sudarsana said Santika Indonesia will be more aggressive in its marketing approach as well as events.
In the first half, Santika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts unveiled Hotel Santika Sukabumi, Hotel Santika Premiere Palembang and Hotel Santika Premiere Ambon. In the second half Santika Indonesia plans to open two 3-star Santika Hotels, two Amaris Hotels and one Boutique Villa. A new brand will also be launched mid-year with the tagline “Crafted for You”, creating an experience for guests so that they feel as though they are staying at a hotel designed especially for them.
