Jakarta, 21 June 2023 - The Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) is again holding a national exhibition and convention "IPA Convention & Exhibition (IPA Convex)". This year, the IPA Convex will be held offline on the 25-27 July 2023 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, this activity will be coordinated by Dyandra Promosindo as the event organizer. "Enabling Oil & Gas Investment and Energy Transition for Energy Transition for Energy Security" is the theme that will be used in the 47th IPA Convex show.

On Wednesday, June 21 2023, IPA conducted a visit to Kompas Gramedia located in the Borobudur Room, Lt. 6, Gramedia Kompas Tower. This meeting aims to explain the agenda for implementing IPA Convex 2023. Present at this visit were IPA Board Director Avep Disasmita, IPA Executive Director Marjolijn Wajong, Chairperson IPA Convex 2023 Krishna Ismaputra, and Communications Committee of IPA Convex 2023.

Kompas Gramedia responded well to this visit with a warm welcome from the editorial staff of KG Media, including News Vice Director of Tribun Network & Chief Editor of Warta Kota Domu Ambarita, Deputy Managing Editor of Kompas Andreas Maryoto, Manager of KompasTV Network Bimo Cahyo Saputro, Managing Editor of Kompas.com Amir Sodikin, Editor Desk News Grid Oto Ahmad Suhendra, Daily & Newsroom Vice Managing Editor Kontan Thomas Hadiwinata, Vice GM Sales KG Radio Network Sadiq Apriadi, and Corporate Communication Director KG Glory Oyong.

The event was opened with an introductory session from both parties. Glory Oyong conveyed Kompas Gramedia's enthusiasm for collaborating with IPA, "This year, we are also very happy because we are again able to host and disseminate the IPA Convex 2023 event. Hopefully today's discussion can result in collaboration between Kompas Gramedia and IPA in enlivening the IPA Convex event. 2023 and support the issue of sustainability of the oil and gas sector in Indonesia."

Chairperson IPA Convex 2023 Krishna Ismaputra dalam pertemuan ini menjelaskan perhelatan IPA Convex pada tahun ini membawa tema yang sangat menarik dan relevan untuk Indonesia. Harapannya, pihak-pihak media dari Kompas Gramedia dapat turut meramaikan konvensi IPA yang juga didukung oleh Dyandra Promosindo. 

“IPA Convex 2023 nantinya akan mengundang pemangku kepentingan sektor migas di Indonesia, serta praktisi-praktisi yang secara riil menavigasi perusahaannya di tengah tantangan dan potensi sektor migas Tanah Air. Konvensi ini akan mewadahi diskusi lintas isu yang menghasilkan white paper sebagai masukan bagi pemerintah untuk memaksimalkan sektor migas dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Harapannya, Indonesia dapat bermanuver di tengah isu transisi energi melalui penciptaan iklim investasi yang menarik,” ujar IPA Executive Director Marjolijn Wajong.

Kunjungan ini merupakan peluang kerja sama dan upaya untuk terus bersilaturahmi antar-instansi. Selain itu, kunjungan ini juga merupakan wujud komitmen dari Kompas Gramedia untuk selalu membuka peluang kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak dalam berkontribusi baik untuk Negeri.
