Jakarta, 19 June 2023 - In supporting the important role of the world of education, educational institutions have an important value in advancing the quality of human resources. Kompas Gramedia received a visit from Pertamina University students on Monday, June 19 2023. Attending this visit was the Head of the S1 Communication Studies Program M. Nur Ahadi, M.I.Kom., Communication and Public Relations Lecturer at Pertamina University Ita M. Hanika, S.A.P., M.I.Kom., as well as Pertamina University Communication Science students. The group of students were received at Bentara Budaya Jakarta by News Video Lead Abba Grablin and Corporate Communication KG Laras Nabila. This visit provides an opportunity for students to learn about the adaptation of the world of journalism in an era of increasingly rapid technological developments.
Corporate Communication KG Laras Nabila opened the event with a quiz by mentioning as many Kompas Gramedia business units as possible for 10 seconds. He also conveyed a brief history of the birth of Kompas Gramedia to the development of its business unit from year to year. In that session, Laras Nabila said that Kompas Gramedia has several brands that are very close to each other and we actually know them.
“Kompas Gramedia has a variety of brands that are very close to everyday life. When looking for information or news, staycations, printing food packaging, and so on," said Laras.
Laras Nabila also explained that one of the biggest factors for a company to survive is a good reputation. Kompas Gramedia has high trust from the public and all existing business units also uphold Kompas Gramedia's 5C values, namely customer delight, competitive, caring, competent and credible. In addition, Kompas Gramedia always tries to establish good relations with other companies and educational institutions by receiving visits from various educational institutions and various companies.
On this occasion, Abba Grablin representing Kompas.com also added that Kompas.com turns a challenge into an opportunity. Abba also explained how Kompas.com overcomes these challenges with various ideas to turn them into opportunities that Kompas.com can excel at.

After the students were assessed to be quite familiar with Kompas Gramedia and Kompas.com, the visit was followed by a question and answer session. The questions asked included how students wanted to know more about Kompas Gramedia and journalistic activities at Kompas.com.
The visiting session ran smoothly thanks to the high enthusiasm of the students through a series of questions submitted. Kompas Gramedia and representatives from Kompas.com reciprocally respond to questions and further enrich students' knowledge about how to overcome a new challenge as a media. The visit was closed by awarding prizes to two selected students who submitted interesting questions. Before the Pertamina University students said goodbye, the group visited the Holy House at Bentara Budaya and Studio 1 at the Kompas Tower. Students observe the media production process and discuss with practitioners about Kompas Gramedia's public relations activities through this tour.
This visit is the implementation of Kompas Gramedia in its mission to contribute directly to building an increasingly advanced and advanced world of education in the hope that the knowledge shared can be useful and transmitted to other students.
