Garut, 12 June 2023 - Hotel Santika Garut held a recitation with the orphans of the Al-Amin Orphanage, Muhammadiyah and RW 07, Pananjung Village, Tarogong Kaler District, Garut in the ballroom of Santika 8 Hotel Santika Garut (12/06). This activity is a means for Hotel Santika Garut to share with people in need as a form of concern for others.

The orphanage children were invited to attend the recitation with all employees of Hotel Santika Garut. After listening to the tausiyah delivered by the ustadz, the children and employees ate together at the Maranta Resto Hotel Santika Garut. General Manager of Hotel Santika Garut Deni Mulyana said, "As a form of our concern for those around us while sharing blessings together, this is a routine program, where every three months we invite orphans from 2-3 orphanages for recitation at the hotel."

Not only sharing, this activity also wanted to provide an opportunity for orphans to experience eating at a hotel. HR Manager of Hotel Santika Garut Dewi Shinta Sirait stated that this experience was expected to raise awareness and bring employees closer to orphans, as well as provide a little happiness and enthusiasm for orphans.

This time the joint recitation activity was even more special because Kompas Gramedia's CSR and Community Relations Team were also present to donate the Koran to the orphanage. "Kompas Gramedia always encourages its business units to contribute to the community in the area where the unit is located. In addition to strengthening friendship, it is also a form of caring for others. Al-Quran donation is Kompas Gramedia's form of support for sharing activities organized by Hotel Santika Garut," said CSR & Community Relations Kompas Gramedia Murtanih.
