Jakarta, 16 February 2023 - Kompas Gramedia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program held an urban farming training activity with the theme "Intensification of Organic Production Facilities and Planting Calendar". This training is an effort by Kompas Gramedia in optimizing the empowerment of the community around the company in the environmental sector. This training was attended by 3 RW residents assisted by Kompas Gramedia, namely RW 02 Gelora, RW 06 North Grogol, and RW 14 North Grogol.

Community & CSR Analyst Kompas Gramedia Mochamad Ardiyanto menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan urban farming ini sebagai lanjutan dari rangkaian-rangkaian pelatihan urban farming yang juga telah dilaksanakan di bulan sebelumnya. Program pelatihan urban farming ini juga rutin dilaksanakan setiap bulannya yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang hijau di tengah perkotaan.

The series of urban farming training activities began with an introduction session on organic matter production facilities in farming, then continued with the practice of making production facilities

organic matter or compost and mole, and closed with a discussion session on the preparation of planting schedules and identification of commodities to be planted. The community is very enthusiastic about participating in urban farming training activities.

"Today's activity is very good, from the explanation presented, it is very helpful and provides new knowledge on how to intensive care related to organic matter, namely compost, and moles because we are in need of new suggestions and ideas regarding the manufacture of organic matter and matters related to urban farming, so we thank Kompas Gramedia for making this training activity, " said Staff RT 06, RW 06, North Grogol Waluyo.

Kompas Gramedia in carrying out urban farming training activities in collaboration with Salam Rancage as a facilitator in training. This collaboration will continue with mentoring and monitoring of the activities of the Kompas Gramedia-assisted community to create a green and healthy environment in the urban middle.
