Jakarta, 9 February 2023 - Every year Kompas Gramedia has a tradition that is routinely held at the beginning of the year. Kompas Gramedia Thanksgiving is an event held as a form of gratitude for God's participation in the past year and for building collaboration synergy this year. Every year the KG Thanksgiving is held by a different pillar. This year, the Functional Unit has the opportunity to become the 2023 KG Thanksgiving committee.
This year, Syukuran KG was held in a hybrid manner located in Bentara Budaya Jakarta, watched simultaneously throughout Indonesia through live streaming broadcasts on the MyKG employee web portal and Kompas Gramedia youtube. Kg 2023 Celebration carries the theme "CollaborAction", which is an acronym for the words Collaborate and Action which means the spirit of collaboration with various parties which is manifested in real actions, both in the form of business cooperation and activities that have a positive impact on society and the environment.
The event began with a performance from the Taman Suropati Chamber which is a community of music activists, especially the violin playing orchestral songs. Next is the viewing of a special BoD Berpantun video and a collection of CSR videos from 13 KG Regional Communication Forums.
The next series of events was a speech from Kompas Gramedia CEO Lilik Oetama which was followed by the reading of the Awarding Best Company.
Kompas Gramedia CEO Lilik Oetama in his speech said that this year is a blessing as well as a new challenge for all of us, we must always be adaptive to the situation so that we can continue to survive. "I hope that the momentum of Thanksgiving this time is an effort to always be committed to contributing to enlightening Indonesia through our respective roles, both individually and professionally," said Lilik Oetama when giving his speech at Bentara Budaya Jakarta (9/2/2023).
In addition, in the framework of the KG 2023 Thanksgiving, Kompas Gramedia also cares for others through blood donations carried out in the morning and managed to collect 116 bags of blood.
The KG 2023 Thanksgiving activity is also a series of collaborative mural events and the launch of KG Semesta. This collaboration mural began with an initial scratch by the CEO of Kompas Gramedia, Pak Lilik Oetama, and was continued by other leaders. The KG Semesta program is also depicted in the collaboration mural image. KG Semesta is a forum that houses sustainable development programs in Kompas Gramedia. The various programs of KG Semesta are energy saving, reducing carbon emissions/air pollution, recycling waste, greening the environment, community empowerment, increasing literacy, and preserving arts and culture.
In addition, in the framework of Kompas Gramedia's 60th Anniversary on August 17, 2023, KG launched the KG Farm urban farming competition between KG pillars. Symbolic with the handover of crystal guava tree seedlings from the CEO of Kompas Gramedia Pak Lilik Oetama to the ranks of 8 kg unit pillar leaders.
Furthermore, there are entertainment performances from the 7 pillars of Kompas Gramedia, namely appearances from GoRP, KG Media, KG Property, UMN, Dyandra, Manufacture, and Hotels and Resorts.
