KompasTV Again Wins Award from Adam Malik Awards

Jakarta, January 11, 2023. KompasTV successfully won an award from the Adam Malik Awards (AMA) 2023.

KompasTV received an award as the Best Television Media. The AMA winners were announced directly in a series of Annual Press Statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (PPTM) 2023 at Nusantara Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/01).

AMA is an annual award given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to the national mass media and journalists.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs always cooperates closely with the media to present information about Indonesia's diplomacy and foreign policy to the wider community.

As a form of appreciation for the support and partnership that has been established so far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded the Adam Malik Awards (AMA) to Indonesian media and journalists for their journalistic work which is considered educational, informative, factual, and balanced.

KompasTV Editor-in-Chief Rosianna Silalahi said, "It is a matter of pride for KompasTV to be able to win the Adam Malik Award again, an award named after a Minister of Foreign Affairs who also has a journalist background. KompasTV has a commitment and responsibility to participate in reporting Indonesia's work and role in the world arena."

"It is proven that KompasTV's commitment to actively reporting the G20 show where Indonesia as the host has produced extraordinary results, namely a large number of viewers. This proves an issue that is considered elite for some people, when it is aired on KompasTV, it is able to reach audiences from various circles with a very good number," said Rosianna.

In 2023, AMA is again awarded in six categories, namely Best Print Media, Best Online Media, Best TV Media, Best Radio Media, Best Print Media Journalist, and Best Online Media Journalist.
