Jakarta, October 14, 2022 - Kognisi spreads education related to web3 through the on air program "Pesona Indonesia" Sonora FM 92 Jakarta (14/10/2022). This discussion is special because it links web3 and art. The theme “Seni dan Web3: Tuangkan Ekspresi Lewat Peluang Berkreasi” was explained thoroughly by the speakers, the Founder of Kogi.NFT, Diptraya P. Ratulangi and the Art Director of Kogi.NFT, Michael Hanoch.

In the first segment, Diptraya explained in detail that NFT is a Non-Fungible Token or digital asset that can be traded using cryptocurrency. He also explains how NFT works and how artists can use it for the development and protection of their art.

“Anything can be used as NFT. Currently, what is currently rife in the community is NFT in the form of digital art, although now there is also a lot of music that is used as NFT. Even though there is a possibility of an NFT being hijacked, everything can be tracked so that the original creator can be identified,” explained Diptraya.

In the heated conversation which lasted approximately 90 minutes, Michael also added interesting facts about the existence of NFT for artists. “The existence of NFT is important to empower artists so that if they have works, they will not only exhibit offline but also digitally. The advantages are faster sales, will continue to receive royalties, and form a community for creators or artists,” explained Michael.

Kognisi Kompas Gramedia initiated Kogi.NFT as one of the NFT projects run by Kompas Gramedia. This is motivated by the spirit to provide education related to web3 to the younger generation so that they are ready to enter the future Internet era. Kogi.NFT was founded on an impact oriented basis, the profit earned is used for equal distribution of education in Indonesia.

Kogi.NFT will be launched in the near future by involving several local Indonesian artists. During this time, 5,900 NFT of Kogi characters will be launched which can be purchased and collected by anyone. Not only that, Kognisi also collaborated with Bentara Budaya in presenting the NFT Laboratory as a free NFT-related study room for the public in general and artists in particular. This project is expected to be an initiative that has a big impact on education in Indonesia.
