KompasTV Wins Award at Press Council Awards 2021

Jakarta, December 10, 2021. KompasTV won the National Television category in the 2021 Press Council Award. The award was given directly by the Press Council to Yogie Arief Nugraha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of KompasTV, on Thursday night (09/12/21) at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta.

The 2021 Press Council Award was held in order to give appreciation to journalists, media, individuals, and institutions who participated in realizing and developing press freedom.

"We are grateful for the award, it is both an encouragement and a reminder for us and all of us, especially the press, television workers, to be true to journalistic values. As well as maintaining together with the freedom of the press," said Yogi Arief Nugraha.

On this occasion, Yogi also expressed his hope that the Press Council Award can spur and make us all stronger facing a future that is not easy and full of challenges.

The award, which was first held by the Press Council, aims to appreciate the mass media, journalists, institutions, and individuals who contribute to realizing press independence in Indonesia.

"This award is to build one culture, a tradition to thank anyone who has achievements," said Chairman of the Press Council, Muhammad Nuh in his remarks on the night of the Award (09/12/21).
